Abbreviations
This pattern uses English terminology:

Dc=double crochet (US single crochet)

Special stitches:
There are no special stitches this week.
Equipment (for all parts of the CAL)
  • DROPS Fabel (75% wool, 25% polyamide, 50g/205m): 3 balls of A Blue Sea Print (or Pink Dream Print or Guacamole Print depending on the colourway you choose); 2 balls of B Rust (or Grey Blue or Mustard) and 2 balls of C Turquoise (or Pink or Apple Green); and a small amount of D Off white (for all three colourways).
  • 3mm crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Darning needle
Notes

Keep your turning chains quite loose as you will be working into them. The finished squares should measure 8x8cm when blocked. 
Instructions

PART 4 SQUARE

Use a 3mm hook. Make 10 squares.

With yarn C, ch4, sl st into 4th chain from hook to form a ring.
Ch1, (dc, ch2, dc) into ring, turn. 
(2dc, 1 ch2 space)

Ch2, skip first st, (dc, ch2, dc) into ch2 space, ch2, skip next st, sl st in turning ch of row below, turn.
(2dc, 3 ch2 spaces)

Ch1, dc in ch2 space, ch1, skip next st, (dc, ch2, dc) into ch2 space, ch1, skip next st, dc in ch2 space, turn.
(4dc, 1 ch2 space, 2 ch1 spaces)

Ch2, skip first st, dc in ch1 space, ch1, skip next st, (dc, ch2, dc) into ch2 space, ch1, skip next st, dc in ch1 space, ch2, skip next st, sl st in turning ch of row below, turn.
